About Us
Nupur Dancing Superstars is a Bollywood & Indian Folk Dance School for all age groups and is located in Bothell, WA. We have already made a wave with numerous super-duper stage performances at various events in Seattle. Our school aims to teach students dance that is NOT limited to steps alone, but rather requires a deeper understanding of creativity, music, movement, mind and body. Their goal is to help students develop proper balance, body posture, rhythm, coordination and performance skills that are technical, exciting and fun. They help students build confidence and self-esteem in an atmosphere of fun and learning.
Rachana Parekh
Rachana was born and grew up in Mumbai. She studied Psychology and Radiology. She had a keen interest in dance at a very young age, and got a Diploma in Bharatanatyam.
After moving to Seattle in 2002, she has successfully been managing an export business since then.
Priyanka Khandhar
Priyanka was born and grew up in Mumbai. She pursued dance from a very young age and completed her Master of Arts in Folk Dance.
After moving to Seattle in 2002, she studied Laboratory Medicine, and then pursued a Masters in Public Health.
Most recently she has been working on cutting edge solutions in Biotechnology.
Diya Parekh
Diya goes to North Creek High School, and is looking to pursue a career in medicine! Nupur Dancing Superstars has given her so many amazing opportunities such as competing at some of the largest Dance competitions in the country, as well as getting an opportunity to be judged by Saroj Khan! Dancing has always been a passion of hers from a very young age and she is happy to be one of the assistant dance instructors at Nupur Dancing Superstars!
Both Priyanka and Rachana went to a Dancing Academy in Mumbai (India) by the Name of “Nupur Dance School” Blessed to have a guru like Mrs. Banerjee whose blessings, hard work and a sense of discipline made them what they are today they couldn’t think of a better name then “Nupur Dancing Superstars”
That is why we chose the name Nupur ...
